Photographer's Note

The towers and Obelisk of the “Old Calton burial ground” as seen from the old town’s Jeffrey street, view due north-east.
The Old Calton Burial Ground is a graveyard at the foot of Calton Hill, was opened in 1718. Different location, but not far from “Calton new burial ground” along the A1 road.
The Obelisk was built as Scotland's American Civil War Memorial (source from Wikipedia). We wanted to see the imposing towers from inside, but the site itself is “closed due to essential maintenance” as the signs says.

Location on the map: 55.9534, -3.186.
Technicals: A JPEG picture, F7.1, 1/250, ISO100.
