Photographer's Note
Hurricane Irene blew through New York area as a tropical storm ,causing to shut New York City down for 2 days.
I just returned from 4 day wilderness camping trip in the Western Adirondacks, and since there had been some worrisome news stories about storm damages and disastrous flooding in the Adirondacks, I found 3 lovely sunny days and hiked out in rain my final morning.
