Photographer's Note

Coba 32 Degrees Celsius, 89% Humidity, in the middle of the forest doing a refill before going up 42 Meters to admire ... - The Tropical forest :)).

Coba was an ancient Mayan city of estimated 50,000 people. This is the Highest Mayan structure in the Yucatan- and when you're up there the forest contains other "bumps" that were in time other pyramids, but have been engulfed back by the trees.
The site contains other visible constructions - the Pele game court ( where if the team loosed you would be sacrificed directly :)) - nice idea to re-implement today to the football players in Europe again :))

BTW there are some renting bikes at the entrance - GET ONE :)) - it's worth it because you can walk about 4 to 6 Km inside the site :)). Don't do Like what we did ( and the Lady drink water) that said no and then went on the opposite direction of the pyramid ( a further 1.5 Km to see a small square with Mayan God monoliths). Result - when you arrive at this view - you need to sit down, drink some water, rest again, and get the corage to go up the pyramid :))
