Photographer's Note

This completes my visit to Mayapán, and uploads of photographs from the 11 other significant Maya archaeological sites in Yucatan state, namely: Acanceh, Ake, Chichen Itza, Dzibilchaltun, Ek'Balam, Kabah, Labna, Ocxkintok, Sayil, Uxmal, and Xlapak. Valentin, my driver, was waiting for me with the car at the gate to drive me back to the hotel in Mérida.

Now, for interested TE members, I intend to commence uploads of photographs taken on a trip to Chiapas late in 2013. I shall start with pictures relevant to the Maya sites - Tonina and Tenam Puente - followed by the earlier Olmec/Zoque site of Chiapa de Corzo. I have already shown you a portion of my collection from Palenque, and the Tonina photographs should be paired with them. Do stay tuned!
