Photographer's Note

The temple faces north, and is located in the centre of the northern portion of the site. Its foundation was built in two phases, as were the staircases. For the latter, 15 steps of rough stones to the first level were included, and then an additional 7 steps were added in the Puuc style, featuring sloping panels, so as to reach the temple on top. This structure offers 7 rooms, 2 of which have niches. In one of the niches there is evidence of mural painting that includes designs painted in blue, red, yellow enclosed in a black border.
