Photographer's Note

This is the facade of Structure CA2 facing south, at the northwest corner of the north plaza in the Ah Canul group. It is multi-roomed, I believe there are five in total. There are two rooms that run west to east and are back to back. A few steps lead up to the first opening between the pillars from the plaza. There is a room to the left, running north to south, vanishing out of the photograph, that enjoys access also to the north plaza and provides entry to the room at the rear. On the right of the structure, there is one large room that has been divided in two with access. The structure is not Puuc as far as it is possible to tell, so it is probably an early construction near 500 CE. Sloping bases appear to the left. Its overall condition is quite good, albeit without a roof.
