Photographer's Note

This is Structure CA4 as viewed from the rear. Both it, and Structure CA9 face to the west, and are located at the south end of the North Plaza of the Ah Canul Group. Also, both were built at about the same time - Early Classic, and in an identical sloping style. With CA4, there was probably a temple on top. The foreground shows a large, covered chultun used for the storage of scarce water between the two.
