Photographer's Note

This is the east fašade (presumed to be) of the Codz Poop. To the left, out of the photograph (and south), the structure quickly degenerates into ruins. Steps lead up to the terrace and the main, large entrance. There are more doorways to the right and all of these have been blocked off, so there is no access. The door jambs of the main entrance are decorated with great sculpture. To see this, I encourage you to reference another site on the Internet: www/ for coverage of Uxmal, Kabah, Sayil and Labna. This includes interactive site maps and photographs, both historical and recent. Above the medial molding, images of a Maya warrior king are presented. Originally, I understand there may have been up to 7 sets of these. Only the one to the left is fairly complete. Its detail will appear in tomorrow's upload. Note, there is no site museum at Kabah.
