Photographer's Note

Based on yesterday's upload, you could be forgiven if you believed the way up to see the masks was by using the staircase looking out on the plaza. I was pleasantly surprised to discover I needed to walk around the structure to its north side. Lo and behold INAH has provided a set of steps, complete with railings to grasp and assist the climb upward. Atop the pyramid are five large masks; one on the east, two on the north, and two on the west. While in good condition, the persons (gods) presented all look like they have been involved in a boxing match and taken a punch to the nose. Tomorrow, then....
