Watching the weather, a photo from Quintana Roo, Southeast

Photographer's Note

This was taken during vacation in Cancun. I do not know if these birds do this all year long but during my trip which was in September, hurricane season had started, every afternoon they would sit there against the wind. I can't say they were relaxing since the wind sometimes would be pretty strong. The next day a tropical system came and it rained pretty hard, maybe they knew...

Some processing, brightness, contrast, unsharp mask and cropping to remove my feet from the photo.

The waves and the clouds on the sky make a wonderful composition.

Great composition! I can't help laughing, the birds look so funny, standing on a line and looking at the exact same direction. They do have a good taste of how a nice view should look like.
Beautiful colours and sky.

Kind picture about the birds. In the background the drama is strong, I like how the clouds repeat the angry sea on the sky.

Well, nice composition and good colours. The birds indeed look a bit funny, looking all at the same direction.
But I like less the quality of the photo..still not so sharp, quite some noise and jpeg artifacts. The sky could use a few hits of despeckle filter..don't know about the rest..despeckle hurts sharpness further.
