Photographer's Note

Every year the sea turtles return to the exact spot they were born and lay their eggs. This year we were fortunate enough to be in mexico when some hatched and emerged out of the sand right in front of us (due to the unusually cooler tempertures they hatched much later than usual)It was amazing to watch them emerge and instinctivly head straight for the ocean. Because the few that we saw hatched so late, they did not have to brave the gaunlet of birds and fish that lay in wait for them to hatch.
