Photographer's Note

It was almost sunset, the sun is still above the horizon yet the moon is out shining over Mazatlan. I was back from my land tour and is admiring this beautiful sight from the deck of my ship.

Mazatlan is a Mexican City in the state of Sinaloa, on the Pacific coast. The population of Mazatlan is approximately 324,700. This city like Puerto Vallarta follows Mountain Standard Time which is one hour later than Pacific Standard Time. The cruise ships share the same commercial cargo dock of the city. The ciy of Mazatlan is divided into two areas, the Old Town and the New Town or what they cal the Golden Zone. All the colored stones in the world can be found here in Mexico including the rare opal.

The dots you see on the sky are birds flying over the bay. This view is what you see on the other side of the dock.

PP Work: Adjusted levels control; Adjusted saturation control; Sharpen; Crop; Frame; Reduce size for posting.
