Photographer's Note

This fountain is one of the best-preserved single artefacts in the wondrous Las Pozas on the outskirts of Xilitla. Iím not sure if the fountain is actually in working order however by the standards of the park the fact that the fountain structure itself is standing is quite good, as it is one of the more delicate features. This was once the multicoloured pet project and playground of millionaire and arts patron Edward James. Although not at itís full glory this park is still a site to behold, the structure of the park are sound and in perfect order however the paint has seen better days and most the park is now bare concrete, this however does little to take away from the impressiveness of the site.
This fountain was well into the park and lost among the trees, vines and dense moist jungle air.
Not much if anything done in PP I prefer where possible to keep the scene as natural as possible and this luckily turned out as is.
