Photographer's Note

As I have said before, I find that markets are very representative of life and habits of the country's they're at. I allways look for them, when travelling and specially in poorer countries, where life takes place mainly outdoors. These places help you to get a feeling of the place and culture. It's also a thrill to my wife, finding diferent fruits and other kinds of strange food that we have never seen or tasted before.

This was taken in the main market of Mexico City and people interacted very much with us. This seller was really happy that I chose to photographed his stall.

We were attracted by all the colours and smells and tried to discover what each of these displayed items was for.

It is a scanned image from the negative.

I found out that may be there is a bit of tiltness, more noticeable at the right side, maybe because of the 28mm wide lens, but I still decided to leave it this way. But as usual, feel free to criticize that option.

As it is current now a days in TE, specially in low quality photos, I made an experience in B&W and sepia, but I was not satisfied at all with the result and I think that the colours in here are very important indeed.
