Photographer's Note

Charlos Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada

Decided to pull off into this shoreside picnic-playground-rest area while driving south on "Marine Drive" (Rte. 316) in Nova Scotia. VERY small village of about 200 people. Drove through at around 11 AM and didn't see a single car on the road. Only saw one other person and no store or gas station in sight (and not for another hour's drive either...luckily I didn't run out of gas). Spending time in a place like this was so peaceful and exactly what I was looking for on my vacation. Of the few shots I took there, this one best translates the peace and beautiful serenity of this village.

Photoshop Adjustments:
Shadow/Highlight: Increased each to 6%
Selective Color: Increased Black levels of Cyans and Blues
Hue/Saturation: Increased Saturation by 10%
