Photographer's Note

As smaller farms become redundant all across Canada, wood barns and their associated out buildings are quickly becoming a thing of the past. It's more and more difficult to find a barn in good repair and even more difficult to find one with a fresh coat of paint.

About as far south as you can go in Canada, this barn soaks up the sun's rays on a cold winter day in Southwestern Ontario's Essex County.
