Photographer's Note

This is one of the 22-snow bus fleet at the Athabasca Glacier. They are specially made by a vehicle company called Brewster for riding on the Athabasca Glacier.

This is something well worth a visit if you are in the Canadian Rockies. It is situated on the Icefields Parkway at the southern end of Jasper NP just before Banff NP. The bus ride starts at the visitor center (with a normal bus), takes you up a hill across the road to these monster-tire buses. The ride itself is as fun as exploring the glacier itself. Its an awesome site seeing all these peaks so close meanwhile you are standing on a mile-scale ice cube. Be sure to try the glacial water from the little streams. Best water on Earth.
