Photographer's Note
Ah rain. Considered one of the fundemental constants of Vancouver. We often say here that we get liquid sunshine rather than the real stuff. Though... this summer has been one of the sunniest and driest in recent history and due to the extreme risk of forest fires, people were banned from smoking in local parks and in provincial parks, access was completely barred. (Though none flared in Vancouver, 350 kilometers away in Kelowna, the most damaging fire ever in British Columbia history destroyed over 200 homes in the Okanagan Mountain firestorm)

Nice. I like the hard focus on the main subjects and the soft focus around them - making the dampness real and giving you a sense of Vancouver. A bigger version would probably be better.

Great placement of the girl walking. It gives her space to walk in to the picture and that helps the viewer to explore more of the photo. I really like how you can see that she is hurying up, probably to get inside as soon as possible.

An underrated picture. This picture is very nice. I love the way the composition is set here. The picture makes me feel as if I'm really there and it's realy raining. Well done!
