The International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, is the biggest hot air balloon festival of its kind in Canada. The perfect place to discover the hot air balloon sport !
How a hot air balloon works is quite simple: the hot air balloon is a device, also called an "aerostat", that, once full of hot air (lighter than the ambient air), can fly through the atmosphere using the wind.

The photo seems about cartoon movies...but they are realy balloons...Very funny, isn’t it?

Very colorful and your timing perfect. It has a surrealistic feel with the way the ballons are arranged and your inclusion of the powerlines really adds a sense of size. This is definitly a wow pic for my eye.

What an awesome capture, very cartoonish in a strange sort of way. I like the light on the ballons, makes it very surreal.

This is a marvelous photo.

Nicely timed is right, and the puppy sniffing the "normal" balloon is a nice touch too.

ouarf! Very funny Vlad. When I first looked at the thumbnail, I thought it was a cartoon image. This is well seen and framed. I just wish that balloon wasn't just against his nose but a bit upwards in front of his eyes, but that isn't obviously your problem... This was a good laugh. Thanks.
