Autumn near Jasper, a photo from Alberta, Prairies

As we entered October in Jasper National Park Autumn colour became stronger.
Out along the road to Pyramid Lake from Jasper town the birch forests were glowing with yellow autumn colour. Here are 2 photos from the area, the main one featuring yellow undergrowth whilst the workshop one shows more tree colour.

Beautiful golden Autumn tones of the lower scrubby vegetation with nice repetition of the grey tree trunks. Excellent sharpness too. Tfs!

Hi Ian,
I see we are gallery neighbours again. Both photos are excellent, with good depth of field and a nice graphic feel with all those straight white tree trunks. I think I prefer the workshop because the autumn colours are more intense in that photo.

Hello Ian, Beautiful autumn forest. It looks similar to birch forests in Russia, often shown in the paintings. Delightful composition.

Hello Ian,
The relative "monotony" of the main view makes it the kind of photo that you could enlarge and maybe print on a wallpaper to cover an entire wall. It's a kind of you that could soothe your mind on a stressful day. Both are very sharp and beautiful photos.

Hello Ian,

It's a very nicely composed photograph, the yellow undergrowth composing the lower third, which seems to be sprouting the many thin verticals of the silver birch trees.
Lovely contrasts in texture.

This is just wonderful. The undergrowth has beautiful yellow glow. And light toned tree trunks give surprisingly luminous result. Did you increase saturation?

A beautiful photo of the many white birch trees in this forest with the yellowish green leaves of the lower leaves in the bottom half. Very well captured with good clarity.
