Photographer's Note

CNE stands for Canadan National Exhibition, an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto, during the final 18 days leading up to the first Monday in September. One of my favorite event organized for the CNE, is the National Sand Sculpting Competition. This picture shows one of the sand sculptures created for the competition, called "Portraits of Canada" by Niel Cox representing Ontario. I put two others into the Workshop: The first place winner: "Canadian Fabric" by Abe Waterman representing Price Edward Island, and the second place winner "Space Oddity" by Guy-Oliver-Deveau, representing Quebec.
