Photographer's Note

Not sure where exactly this picture was taken but we had crossed from the United States into Canada on our way to Fraser to board the White Pass Route & Yukon Route Railroad for a train trip back to Skagway Alaska.

White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, a narrow-gauge "Scenic Railway of the World." Built in 1898 for easy access to the gold fields, the vintage cars have been fully restored, with large picture windows that frame the breathtaking panorama of mountains, glaciers, gorges, waterfalls and tunnels. You'll travel the opposite side of the White Pass, down into the canyon and chug into downtown Skagway where you can disembark for shopping before returning to your ship."
