Photographer's Note

That curious name comes from the configuration of those 3 islands that look like a bottle, located in the middle of the St-Lawrence River. After been abandoned for more than 100 years, renovation was made on this lighthouse in 1989 and people can now had access to this place through boat at the Trois-Rivières pier. At the top of the long wooden stairs, sits the house of the lighthouse keeper. This whole place is a natural reserve where many colony of water birds, rorquals and seal rests. We can also walk on kilometres of nature trail on the island. Beautiful place to see!
