Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the banks of the Lachine Canal. This canal was an important place of Canada's industrial development. The name "Lachine" comes from the fact that the arrival of the French in Canada, they looked for a way across Canada to China. Today, many of these old industrial buildings have been converted into condo building. Today the National Park, the navigation channel is now reserved for boating and sports.
This image demonstrates the presence of this wonderful place a few blocks from downtown.

Amicalement

Hello Rejean,
a colourful snapshot from the life of the city with the people to enjoy the Nature in Lachine canal in the industrial area of Montreal.
I like the variety of the colours, the clarity of the image as bringing out the details of the place.

I hope the bridge is strong enough to hold that train otherwise the people in that yellow kayak are in big trouble. Looks like it's a beautiful day to go kayaking. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

It looks like you caught the canal on a very busy day, Rejean! I'm sure having such a scenic waterway downtown creates a great recreational area. I'm sorry I've missed this on my trips to Montreal.

Hello Rejean
A nice city view with several interesting elements. I like the juxtaposition between the powerful train and the hand-operated boats. Wonderful skyline as a backdrop. Very nice work:) TFS. Enjoy your WE.
