Hi Axel
I wasn't that fortunate when I went for a whale watching in Victoria last summer....it was much, much better in Tofino and Ucluelet but...ok, it's a matter of luck...anyway, this pic is great, I like it alot, perfect timing and framing.
Have a good day!

Axel,
This is great - the Orca grabs your attention and then the red figures draw the eye towards realising that you are also being photographed. I might be tempted to retouch out the black dot (bird?) on the left-hand side, and possibly the similar dot in the water below it, but these are silly cosmetic things. A really good photo, thanks.

Hi Axel;
I love whale watching when back home in BC. Looks like you were quite close. I might have tried to focus on the whale vs. the boat but easier said then done when bouncing around on the waves. The other thing which is fixable in post production is the horizon correction. For shots such as this with a very obvious horizon, it's really vital to ensure they're nice and level.
Cheers,
- Dan
