Photographer's Note
on a trip from Calgary to Vancouver and back,
across Alberta and British Columbia, with a hired car, on the Trans Canadian Highway, also called Highway1
At the beginning I stopped to take here and there a photo. But after a while, as time was passing, but not so the miles, I "shot" during the driving...
not really recomendable... here some result
The Trans-Canada Highway (French: Route Transcanadienne) is a federal-provincial highway system that travels through all ten provinces of Canada. It is, along with the Trans-Siberian Highway and Australia's Highway 1, one of the world's longest national highways, with the main route spanning 8,030 km (4,990 mi). The system was approved by the Trans-Canada Highway Act of 1949,[3] with construction commencing in 1950.[4] The highway officially opened in 1962, and was completed in 1971. The highway system is recognizable by its distinctive white-on-green maple leaf route markers.

Hi Janos,
This shot is very singular and of great interest. The composition you managed to set is simply stunning.
Too many contradicted elements kept in good balance.
In addition, the spot seems amazing. It reminds me of the Moroccan ATLAS mountains.
All the best

Janos,
I have been down this road thousands of times, and it is a pleasure to see this unique view. I love bit of blurred highway on the bottom. Nicely done.

Hallo Janos.

Hi Janos
It's creative way of making picture differently, the combination of 'in focus' and 'out of focus' points makes the eye rove around the image with wing mirror reflecting a beautiful landscape with a feel of motion effect at the same time. A well detailed highlights in good tone, coloring and exposure especially since you are dealing with available light. Excellent travel record shot, well taken and done, Congrats
Best regards
