Photographer's Note

This photograph was taken at the Galino Galleries in Malaspina Galleries Regional Park on Gabriola Island, British Columbia. The Cretaceous aged sandstones of the Galiano Galleries are easily eroded and produce fantastic honey comb structures.

The spectacular Malaspina Galleries are just out of the photo to the right.

I chose this composition because I liked the graphic nature of the weathered sandstone and the dead pine tree.
