It was the perfect morning for this plane to glide across the lake before take off. Along the shoreline is one of many golf courses in Whistler and the background trees in the reflection really made this photo worth sharing. Enjoy.

You've captured the perfect moment in a very good way : all is bright and sharp.
Obviously, the reflection of this wonderful gradation of greens is a real bonus in your picture.

What a marvelous capture. Clean, crisp and razor sharp image. The blue is popping out of the green environment. The reflections are ultimate.

Hello Paul! This is the moment when flying is so much fun: Perfect weather conditions, a cool morning and an incredible adventure ahead of you. Wonderful these reflections, the green is fantastic. Maybe I would have liked to see this scene without the lake shore in the back but this is me and the way I love to see the world, so don't take my words too serious. Without a doubt Paul, you still have a lot of friends here on TE! I'm lucky if I can get more then 3 people to comment on any of my shots (jealous)!

Amazing to see the contrast of a seaplane just off the ninth hole! Lovely reflections off the water. Sharp detail and rich colors.

Nice shot Paul, though it does look quite similar to one I took the same day. Colors are sharp and much deeper than mine though. Must be the filter you used, eh!! No doubt people like your stuff, mine never came near to the same amount of points. Good work.

hello Paul,
the luminous light make this a perfect photo too, everything looks brnd new and shining in expectations for agreat day. not sure about the square format though, I might prefer more panoramic version and more space to the left for the plane to glide into. but that's a personal preference.

Hi Paul,

A brilliant shot of the reflection in the water, the trees and the plane. The lighting and exposure are surprisingly good - the shadows are highlights often get clipped in such settings. Perfect in every respect...
