Photographer's Note

The Parlaments Building in Victoria, next to the inner harbor. The photo was taken in June and the lights are turned on every night for the viewing pleasure of the locals and of course the tourists. People I spoke to were surprised to see the christmas lights coming on in the middle of the year...
Victoria is the capitol of BC and is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, 90 ferry minutes away from Vancouver.
For people interested: the FujiFinepix almost reached her limits while taking the shot, hopefully you can enjoy this unusual view nevertheless.
