Photographer's Note

As i'm just leaving for work in about 10 min, I wanted to find a photo quickly for posting.

This one has been saved on my desktop for several months, so lets post it now :)

It's a pretty straight forward composition, as i'm standing on an elevated overpass/bridge. It was only a matter of time until the train passed by, so i waited and waited.

In the bg are some familiar Vancouver landmarks, the most being the rounded Harbour Centre. This was my first time shooting at this location and it turned out to be a great spot for sunset.

My intent was to leave the middle space black, as its ugly industrial area. I liked the total silhouette look with the light reflecting off the train.

Hope you like it, thanks for looking
