Photographer's Note

This will be my final posted photo from the fireworks in Vancouver during the Canada Day Celebrations, but I will add another in the WS.

I'm expecting to see a few more firework photo's in the next few days because its the 4th of July celebration in America.

Living in Vancouver, Seattle is only a 2 hour drive south. My plan was to drive down and capture the fireworks because they shoot out of the top of the Seattle Space Needle - a subject i've posted before here on TE.

Unfortunately I'm working Night shift and I can't get out of it! But I do hope to see other American TE members post some shots :)

I chose this photo because of the reds, a total contrast to the blue color of my previous post.

Having a remote shutter really helped, it made a drastic difference in timing and final execution. In my firework photo shoot last year I didn't have this remote and it proved to be difficult to time the long draping effect. So if you're out there planning, please get a remote for your camera, and they're cheap too :)

Happy 4th of July to our American TE friends!!
