LightBright, a photo from British Columbia, Western

Photographer's Note

I chose to name this "LightBright" because these buildings remind me so much of that childhood game of the same name.

Can you remember playing with lightbright? I may not remember what i did yesterday, but i remember playing that game over 2 decades ago! I'm not even sure if the game is still available today.

This is another downtown Vancouver cityscape shot taken in the late evening during my favorite time - you know by now - BlueHour.

Craig you mentioned lightbright and yes you are right. It does look like it to me but I think you have too many yellow ones. I guess you need to go to Las Vegas for those colors...hey?
Nice shot though. I love the lighted dome on top. You always seem to have lots of free time at the blue hour Craig. Good work!

This is a nice blue hour shot! The blending of the natural and artificial lighting is very nice here. The colors are fine and the photo has nice sharpness.

Fantastique bâtiment avec de très belles couleurs, toutes ces fenêtres éclairées, le ciel doux en fond, ce bâtiment modernes sont parfaitement mis en évidence, ceet coupole ronde qui se contraste avec les bâtiments carrés, fantastique.

Hello Craig, Another great shot of Vancouver. The lighting is absolutely perfect and the buildings seem to cast a magic aura with their interior lighting. Sure, I remember Light Bright. your images are always impressive, so as in the case of this last one in which you composed an outstanding scene thanks to the perfect POV and to the great management of the exposition. The colors and the contrasts are really superb.

Hello Craig,
I think that the success of this photograph is that it was constructed in the early evening hours. A relatively bright sky covered with beautifully saturated blue, and illuminated skyscrapers already leaking points of light from the windows. The shapes of buildings emerging from the shadows, but without losing a clear picture of the walls. The whole very nicely composed and fantastically colored.

The first thing that comes to my attention is the lack of keystoning. Did you sort that in Photoshop?

Excellent exposure as you managed some good detail in the shadows as well.
