Photographer's Note
Another shot from Vancouver Island's West Coast. With this shot I metered for the sun that was reflecting off the shallow stream of water flowing through the sand. I really like the resulting extreme contrasting which shows the striations in the sand.
I decided to post this shot 90 degrees ccw to how it was shot, as the striations resemble trees pointing upwards towards the sun.
