Photographer's Note

While going out to shoot this bridge i was surprised to learn that the beachfront is actually used as a dog park. I've never been to this specific location before, and the number of dogs walking and swimming were shocking - simply because this River isn't exactly the cleanest we have here in locally!

This Fraser River is used specifically to transport wood and timberlogs, so you can imagine the dirt that collects. Its certainly not used for swimming - other than dogs i guess!

Surprisingly enough though, large and extra large Sturgeon have been known to swim this River, and some doozies have been caught! The average Sturgeon caught here are between 50 - 200 pounds.

The largest sturgeon caught in this river was over 11 feet long, weighing over 1000 pounds! It took 6 men taking turns, over 4 hours to reel it in!

Anyways...now i'm getting off track. This doggy and its master were kind enough to let me take a few shots, and in the background is the Pattulo Bridge, and a railway bridge underneath.

have a great week everyone
Cheers
