Photographer's Note
Powell River has some of the best sunsets on the west coast. I don't know why the sky gets so red in the evening, but the contrast of crimson and violet is well worth photographing.
Here, a block and tackle at the waterfront near the mill makes an interesting foreground to the sky's gradient and the south end of the city lays along the bottom edge
