Photographer's Note
My first posting from my trip to Beautiful B.C. comes from the Fraser Valler. Located on the south side of the Fraser River & 10 miles from Chilliwack lies Bridal (Veil) Falls.
An awe inspiring sight indeed as the falls drop over 400 feet off Mount Cheam, making it the sixth highest falls in Canada.
Unfortunately the conditions on this day were far from ideal; a lot of rain and mist. Combined with the fact that I didn't have my tripod or umbrella- I was forced to settle for some shots of the beautiful streams that run off.
For this exposure shot I rested my camera on a nearby log.
More photos to come as my trip continues....

Very poetic shot dan. You capture it very well. It isn't always easy this kind of landscape. The colors are great too. Thanks.

Hello Dan. Nice of you to visit my back yard, the Fraser Valley. Sometimes the less spectacular shots of the lower stream flowing from falls are just as satisfying and you have achieved an excellent result despite the inclement weather. The sharpness and detail is very good, and I like the shine on the black, rugged rocks. Well done.

Well Dan too bad about not taking a view from the falls. I have one posted in my gallery. But when I went up there I found all sorts of places for good shooting ops. But have found a real nice one here. Amazing depth and very well balanced elements. A delight to view Dan.

Bonsoir Dan,
Très belle photo! J'aime le mouvement de l'eau... ça lui donne une impression de voile, Très bien réussi.

So I looked at another shot of these falls and it brought me to your shot. You did an excellent job shooting these falls. Did you use a tripod? This is very vivid and I can almost hear the gurgling of the falls. Great picture. I have many pictures of falls also, Bridal Veil Falls in Oregon I a favorite of mine. TY for the posting.

Hi Dan. This is a superb natural composition. The major strength focus on the foreground works very well. Good strong impact. TFS. Murray.
