Photographer's Note

I photographed this scene from a moving car as we travelled on the Trans Canadian Highway between Lytton and Ashcroft. This image is for me just a glimpse in time. I have rotated and cropped the image to get this result and after a little searching on Google Earth I think I have found the exact location with the steep rocky red slope behind. The river in the foreground is the Thompson River and between the river and the buildings you can catch a glimpse of the Canadian Pacific Railway line which stretches from Vancouver to Montreal.
