Photographer's Note

This has been done here before but I couldn't resist. This one of three remaining Israeli Dakotas sits idle at the Villeneuve Airport outside Edmonton in Alberta. I was told that the aircraft was loaded with 14 barrels of fuel daisy chained directly into the fuel tanks to make the journey here from Israel. These are for sale, as were the other three, bought by different museums in the U.S. for restoration.

This photo was taken from the perspective of a boarding passenger or crew member.

Cropped and border added in Photofiltre.
