Photographer's Note

This is a more northerly view of the sculpture, furnishing greater clarity in the inscriptions. Here are written a few of the teachings prominent among peoples of the First Nations. (1) Humble Kindness - critical. When I see this phrase, I think of the Latin word "caritas" which appears in English as "charity" - a form of "Love". (2) Sharing- I like the phrase "What goes around, comes around." This is very common sensical! (3) Honesty - this speaks much of a person - Do not lie, cheat or steal! And (4) Determination - be a person who gets things done - results. This is what a university degree says about a person. "I have stayed the course!" "I have achieved!"

Then, we must remain faithful to our common humanity.
