Photographer's Note

Moraine Lake's rock pile is the best viewpoint by far for the lake. But it's not particularly large. And it's visited by thousands of people every day, most of whom bear cameras. So nothing you or I can shoot here is going to be original.

That being said, some spots are shot more than others. This one I haven't really seen in photos. And I really liked the rock in the foreground.

Taken about an hour and a half after sunrise.
