Photographer's Note

I thought I would post one more photo from our recent trip to Banff National Park before going back to other countries.

This is a scene from our Beehive Hike in Lake Louise.
It's a little confusing because Banff National Park is so large, there are more towns than just Banff - this hike is located in the town of Lake Louise. And to further confuse you, this Beehive Hike is also known as the Agnes Lake Teahouse hike.

I'll post 2 photos in the WS, one showing why its called the Beehive, and finally a view from the very very top.

The view from the top is approx 3000 feet up, and is a 3000 foot vertical drop almost straight down. People have died, loosing their footing from the ciff edge. My girlfriend Tosca was getting a litte angry with me as I too, was close to that edge, but I wanted to get my photo.

The view that you will see from the cliff edge is of the famous Lake Louise with its emerald green waters, and of the famous Hotel.

The view you see here is part of the trail heading backdown the mountain side, we are hiking down the tall beehive section.

Hope you like these shots
