Photographer's Note

Somewhere on the ice-barrier in Nunavut (Canadian Arctic... The sun is shining but the weather is not really hot: the thermometer posts - 22°C!
And to take photos from the sledge with this polar temperature is not easy :
Initially it is necessary to remove its pulley blocks and to fix them well with the cords of the sledge, to remove the glasses, to open the various layers of clothing to catch the camera preserved close to the body, well warm ... then to start it well and at the time to shoot, surprised : the eyes fill up tears and one sees nothing any more in the sight! Click, Clac! Lastly, quickly the camera should be arranged... because the batteries discharge quickly by great cold and the fingers start to be cold (in spite of the under-gloves!) You understood it, difficult to improvise and make the "instantaneous ones"... but in the last , the result is not too bad ?
