Photographer's Note

Photo taken on an overcast day on the lakefront of our camp in the Northwest Territories. Working in a geological mapping crew, mapping bedrock.

One of our chairs was left alone staring at the lake. I think this photo has a feeling of solitude that in a way represents what one feels when they are in the middle of the Territories with absolutely no civilization near.

The photo was taken in panoramic, with only the faor right edge cropped to eliminate an unwanted object. It is a digitized film photo.
