Photographer's Note

On this beautiful Sunday morning, I was touring in the neighborhood to capture some images of the autumn mood. The trees were already pretty empty , as we had high winds recently.

I ended at the Ki-8-Eb Golf Club to have a look at the construction works going on. This fall they are
modifying the landscape on some of the holes of the first nine holes along the Saint-Maurice River. It was not very interesting to present to you.

Instead I propose you this view of the Hole No. 18. A trio of ladies is putting on the green

This weird name origin is not official, but it would come from the phonetic translation of a native Algonguin chief which was born in Trois-Rivieres. Him and 34 members of his group fighthed victoriously against a group of Annontagués in Kingston, Ontario. That band was terrozising a group of settlers.

Founded in 1923, thee club de golf Ki-8-Eb had only 7 holes at the beginning. The first nine holes were completed in 1925. Already in 1924, they started the construction of the Club house.

In 1952, the second nine holes were added, for a standard course ( normal 72 ).
