Photographer's Note

My first shot of these paintings on pillar is here:

As you can see on my previous shot, the sky was burned and it is about the best that can be done in this darkness (at least, during the day). Now, I've recently learned about HDR images and thought it would be a great use of this technique.

So I took 5 RAW pictures at different exposures (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2 stops) using a tripod with my new Sony A100. Then, I combined them to get a HDR image. I used Photomatix for the final tone mapping and then, resized, sharpened and levelled with Photoshop. I think the result is much better than my previous picture.
