This is my first moon shot. I think I like it. Today was exeptional clear night for a full moon. Better get back home befor midnight. We never know. Could meet a werewolfe. Any way did this shot wiht a 400mm lens with tripod at 1/225 and F8.0 manual mode.

Wow Michel, this is a lovely shot of the moon!
The composition is great for a subject so simple.
I like the contrast of the bright (and detailed) moon against the pitch black sky.
I've never seen the sky so black!
This is a beauty. Great great work!

Great colour and sharpness and I like the way you have positioned the moon in the image.
I, too, am experimenting with moon shots, but none good enough for TE yet.

c'est la pleine lune ? vite, il faut que j'aille chez le coiffeur, il parait que les cheveux poussent mieux quand on les coupe un jour de pleine lune.

Hi Michel - exceptionally clear and detailed, the crater at the bright spot must be huge, no moon stamp in my passport yet, but I too noticed how beautiful it looked last night.
