Photographer's Note

I've been saving this for an appropriate time, and here I am finally able to start posting again during Christmas week -- could there be a better time to share this image? This statue stands high in the steeple of the church of St. Enfant Jesu in the Plateau Mont-Royal district of Montreal. The church (designed by Joseph Venne) was built in 1857 and enlarged in 1901, in a neo-baroque Italian style, which is evident here in the ornate embellishments of the tower.
Happy holidays to all my friends around the world.
