I'd say that you almost got a great photograph in this one. The composition is really good except for the conifer in the foreground. (It could be cloned out. It would also have been nice if someone had held back the pine branch in the upper right and made this shot all about deciduous foliage.

This shot looks to me like it could stand some sharpening. Almost every image out of a digital camera or scanner needs a bit, especially after you reduce the file size.

Also, try dropping the brightness just a bit and increasing the contrast some to make the presentation a bit 'richer'.

Un cadrage sans le haut , coupant ainsi le ciel nous aurais donné un effet de masse impressionant !
Il a y un melange de couleur qui est superbe très typique de l'automne.
J'aime également bien la pierre a droite qui est très précise en détail.

What great colors here. I like the addition of the conifers in the foreground and on the right, kind of peaking out, giving that green color to the golden and red colors of the other trees. The rock is well placed in your photograph. You chose a great location and photographed it very well.

Effectivement Il existe un gros écart d'exposition entre le ciel et les arbres, c'est normal, votre appareil a choisi l'exposition correcte des arbres au détriment du ciel.
Un filtre dégradé gris aurait résolu le problème.
Je possède un petit atout dans mas manche en WS.

Very nicely composed. Great low angle, and nice positioning with the rock on the foreground. The colours are splendid. Well done.

Belles couleurs chaudes, bien mis en valeur par un premier jouant les contrastes avec ses tons froids. Le ciel blanc est quasi obligatoire dans le cas d'un écart de luminosité important.La seule solution est un filtre dégradé Cokin qui ici ne se justifie pas, le blanc du ciel accentuant l'éclat des feuilles.
