Photographer's Note
These tall wood sculptures are on the wall of the nave in the basilica of the St. Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal in Montreal. They are part of 12 apostles project by French artist Henri Charlier (1883 - 1975), who also designed the altar. They were made in 1957 - 59, to fit into the Art Deco interior of the very tall modern church.
