Photographer's Note

This shot was taken in late afternoon. Snow squalls on a Mid-November Day passing by. This photo was shoot from the village of Les Éboulements , Charlevoix County in the province of Quebec City. The place is about 125 kms East of Quebec City. Looking West , on the left is Isle-aux-Coudres. A ferry service is available between St-Joseph-de-la-Rive on the main land and the Island. You can see the shadows of both docks on either side of the river. The main traffic Channel for ships is passing North of the Island. You can see a ship proceeding downbound toward the sea. Currents of up to 8 knots are experienced at low tide. Tricky place for navigators. Far back, the slops of a ski resort can be seen. This one is located at Petite-Riviere-Saint-François.
A bit difficult to find the right exposure in such weather conditions. Hope you will like it.
